Bay One sends readers to three retailers on purpose. Lowe's is excellent for pickup and job-site SKUs, but its Commission Junction cookie is 24 hours. If that is the only button on the page, a reader who researches tonight and buys tomorrow often credits nobody — and you, as a publisher, trained them to click a short cookie first.
